Q: What is a carrier oil?

A: A gentle oil that dilutes essential oils for safe skin use. We use 100% natural, pure golden jojoba oil — cold-pressed, unrefined, and nourishing.

Q: Are Pine & Pear blends diluted?

A: Yes. All blends are pre-diluted in jojoba oil so they’re safe to use on skin.

Q: How do I use my blend?

A: Roll onto pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) or palms to inhale. You can also add a few drops to a diffuser or up to 6 drops in a bath or shower.

Q: How should I store my oils?

A: Keep tightly capped, out of direct sunlight and heat, and away from children and pets.

Q: Are there oils that are unsafe for pets?

A: Yes. Certain oils (like tea tree, wintergreen, eucalyptus, pine, and clove) can be harmful. Keep oils out of reach of animals and consult your vet if unsure.

Q: Why are gemstones in the blends?

A: Each roller that is infused with crystals and gemstones are chosen for their traditional symbolism — like amethyst, believed to calm, or citrine, believed to uplift.

Q: Are the stones real?

A: Yes! All gemstones in Pine & Pear blends are authentic crystals and stones. Jessica and her Rockhound, Ovi, find and tumble many themselves!

Q: Do crystals really “work”?

A: Crystals are not medical tools, but many people enjoy their beauty and symbolism. They’re a meaningful layer to each blend, and we believe in their good vibes!

A: Typically 3 months with regular use.

Q: What if I don’t like my custom blend?

A: Custom-crafted blends are one-of-a-kind and non-refundable, but we’ll work with you to create something you’ll love!

Q: Will my custom blend ever be replicated?

A: No — custom blends are made uniquely for you.

Q: Do you make oils for weddings or large events?

A: Yes! We create signature blends for weddings, birthdays, memorials, and more. Contact us for details or visit the “Large Orders” tab on our site for details.

Q: What does “small-batch” mean?

A: Each run is handcrafted in limited quantities — keeping your blends fresh and intentionally made.

Q: Do you make blends in-destination?

A: Yes! On special trips to Sedona or Northern Minnesota, we offer in-destination custom oils — inspired by the land, lakes, and Spirit.

Q: Why don’t you use amber bottles?

A: Our clear bottles highlight the crystals, botanicals, and artistry inside. Oils are stored away from sunlight until sold to preserve freshness.
