Jessica Brekke is the founder of Pine & Pear Apothecary, a destination-inspired essential oil brand rooted in the landscapes and cultural heritage of Arizona and Minnesota. Every original blend is inspired by adventure, guided by Spirit, and shared through story. Pine & Pear Apothecary honors the land, its people, and the sacred connection between nature, wellness, and self-expression.
She is currently pursuing her Aromatherapy certification through the New York Institute of Aromatherapy. This coursework satisfies the requirements to be certified as a Level 1 and Level 2 NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist.® Jessica plans to become Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki I & II trained in October of 2025 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Jessica is excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with Julie Russell, Verde Valley’s leading ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher and Past Life/QHHT Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. Jessica plans to expand her Reiki education by becoming ICRT Animal Reiki certified in November 2025 (animals love Reiki!).
Jessica’s process integrates the healing properties of essential oils with the energetics of Reiki, creating blends that support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Her journeys will be documented from the road in a BOHO camper van - explore how place, purpose, and Spirit intersect.
Her loyal companion and BFF, Ovi, is a sweet, happy 4-year-old shepherd mix who will join Jessica on select adventures as the brand’s unofficial morale officer, rockhound, and trail scout.
When Jessica and Ovi aren’t in Pine & Pear mode, you’ll find them at the dog park, moseying through garage sales, rockhounding (thus Ovi’s nickname, Rockhound), watching hockey, or spending time with family.
